My diary does actually say ‘December’ ?
I’d put the wrong month in.
Not for one day but the whole month?
What the Fanny Flintstones was I on ?
Coco cabana?
All this bloody overtime.
Mind you a chic vintage bottle of sherry won’t go a miss.
I blame it on the residents.
How I became hooked on this antique ‘kind of’ liqueur.
They forced fed it me every time I hosted the drink’s evening.
Which was practically every evening I worked.
Wrapped up Josh’s, Mum’s and Stalker Hawker Harris’s presents.
I often question my sanity in the fact of why was I still buying him a gift?
Unless it was devices such as no entry signs, a human type mouse trap or some latches?

I admit I’ve been a lazy twat and had only been to the gymn once last week.
I could feel the flab quadrupling.
My belly was starting to get into competition with Eric Bristow.

Gran rang, I’m seeing her tomorrow .
Dad is having an operation on his foot.
I had visions of Bully Beef battering Baby up

It’s a long story but my Dad jumped 10 foot from a wall to get into ThrumHall rugby free.
Saving a massive 50p.
( in the 80’s)

Doing this stunt he’d broke his foot.
His pot was up to his knee ( This was Bully Beef)
Baby was the foot that wasn’t broke.

Dad would tell us umpteen stories lasting around 15-20 minutes a time.
About Bully Beef always beating poor Baby up and with Dad doing this .
I’m surprised he didn’t break his other foot.
What with the thrashings Baby got.
Me and Ross absolutely loved these times.

At work we’re arranging a night out for mine and Gail’s 22nd birthday.
The date is December the 4th.
“You’ll end up dancing on the table again Fee!” Debbie roared.
“You only live once!” I replied.
